Edison, NJ – The Region XIX Coaches have voted for the All-Region XIX Team and three RVCC players have earned spots on the team. Sophomores Lucia Noin and Vega Gil were nominated All-Region XIX First Team and freshman Julia Fontanillo was voted to the Second Team All-Region XIX Team.

Noin leads the team with 21 points and 9 rebounds per game with shooting 49% from the field, 31% from downtown and 75% from the line. The guard from Santander, Spain has totaled 12 double doubles on the season and scored over 20 points eighteen times this season with a season high of 34.

Gil is second on the team with 14 points per game while shooting 45% on the season. The guard from Pamplona, Spain is averaging 5 rebounds and has scored in double figures seventeen times this year. Her best performance came in the Lions' first ever win at Lackawanna college. She notched 29 points, 7 rebounds, dished out 11 assists, had 4 steals and 1 block.

Fontanillo is third on the team with 10 points per game and second with 6 rebounds. She leads the team with 4.6 points per contest and with 3.8 steals per game. The first year point guard from Valladolid, Spain is constantly filling up the stat sheet. In every single game, but one, she has been in the box score for points, rebounds, steals and assists.
