Phil Herro will be entering his ninth season as the head women's volleyball coach at RVCC in the Fall of 2023. In 2016, he led the Lions in the transition to a full intercollegiate team after participating as a club team in 2015. In 2017 the Lions were runner-up in the Region XIX championship and earned the schools first ever Garden State Athletic Conference Championship. In 2019 the team made it's first ever appearance in the NJCAA Division III National Tournament. In 2021, Herro led the team to a program best 24-6 overall record (17-1 Region XIX), their 4th GSAC Title in a row, and an invitation to the NJCAA National Tournament where the Lions finished 9th. 

In addition to being the head women's volleyball coach, Herro is the head women's basketball coach and recruiting coordinator. He resides in Bound Brook, NJ.

Bria Reasoner is in her third year with RVCC as the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. She is no stranger to the sport of volleyball as both a player and coach. Bria played at both the high school and club level on the National Team at CJVA, and played at RVCC in 2017. During her season with RVCC, the team was the runner up in the Region XIX Championship and made school history with the first ever Garden State Athletic Conference Championship and a National Ranking of top 10 in the NJCAA.

Bria’s resume includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management and 5 years of club coaching experience at both the National and Regional Levels.

Since joining the Volleyball Staff, she has helped coach the program in 2021 to its most successful overall record to date finishing 24-6 (17-1 Region XIX) and the team’s second appearance at the NJCAA National Tournament. In 2022, the Lions had another strong season with an even better overall record of 28-5 (17-2 Region XIX) and another GSAC Championship. Bria has worked closely with and developed two All-American's, Kaili Fitzpatrick (First Team 2021) and Olivia Sims (Second Team 2022).
