Lincroft, NJ - The Lions traveled to Brookdale Community College on Saturday, September 15th to take on the Jersey Blues. This was the third road game in a row for the RVCC Lions and their sixth game in eight nights. If they Lions were exhausted, they showed no sign of it at all as they won in straight sets; 25-9, 25-17, 25-13. 

Freshman Middle Blocker, Bryahna Shaw, led the Lions in kills again as she tallied 9 on the day. Sophomore Outside Hitter, Chandra Ramlogan, contributed 7 kills of her own to go along with 5 digs. Fellow Sophomore, Lauren Herman, notched a season high with 4 kills as she played the right side for the Lions. Again, the Lions proved they have some serving weapons as Freshmen Anais Duarte and Tess Rogovin finished the day with 8 and 7 aces, respectively. The defense of the Lions was led once again by Freshman Libero, Andrea Chavez. The Bridgewater High School product tallied 7 digs on the day, marking only the third time in eight matches in which she didn't record double digit digs. 

The Lions are back in action Tuesday, September 18th when they host Ocean County College at 7 PM.
