North Branch, NJ-- The RVCC women's volleyball team cruised to a victory over Lehigh Carbon Community College on October 11th in three sets. The Lions won by scores of 25-13, 25-14, and 25-16.
Sophomore outside hitter Mekayla Dela Cruz had nine kills and also contributed on the defensive end with five digs. Sophomore setter Ashley Hunt set the tone on offense as she had four service aces and six assists, and sophomore outside hitter Taylor Moskal with a team high of eight digs.
With the victory the Lions end their regular season on a nine game winning streak and end the season 18-1 overall. They are also 16-1 in Region XIX play, and 13-1 in Garden State Athletic Conference play.
