RVCC wins over Bergen making history

The women's volleyball team just became the first team in RVCC's history to place in the top 10!

Following the win after Tuesday night's match against Bergen, Raritan Valley Community College is now 10th in the national rankings. The Lions started the season on a 9 game winning streak and are now 14-1.

Head Coach Phil Herro stated:

"Heading into the season it was easy to see we had a lot of talent in our gym, but to be where we are right now is truly just a testament to our girls and the hard work they put in every single day. I feel honored to be a part of it and have been trying to enjoy the ride. Family is something we always preach and it's our trust, belief, and love for each other that has gotten us to where we are today. We are definitely proud to be in this position, but know that we still have a lot to prove."

Up next for RVCC is a home tri match against Luzerne County College and Union County College on Saturday, October 7th @12. Come out and support your Lions!
