Lions win in Three VS Passaic

Cranford, NJ--The RVCC women's volleyball defeated Union County College on Saturday, September 23rd. The Lions took the victory in three sets. They got off to a fast start in the first set and kept the momentum going, as they won with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-17.

Leading the way for the Lions on offense was Freshman outside hitter Chandra Ramlogan with 10 kills, sophomore middle hitter Mekayla Dela Cruz and and sophomore opposite hitter Brooke Scheier with seven kills each. Sophomore libero Hannah Eisenstein was strong on the defensive end as she totaled 12 digs and Sophomore setter Ashley Hunt finished with 22 assists. 

With the win the Lions improved their record to 10-1 on the season. Next up for RVCC is a home game against Passaic County Community College on Tuesday, September 26th at 5:30pm.
