North Branch, NJ-- The RVCC women's volleyball defeated Bronx Community College Friday night in three sets by scores of 25-7, 25-15, 25-11.
Leading the way for the Lions on offense was sophomore middle hitter Mekayla Dela Cruz with five kills. Sophomore opposite hitter Brooke Scheier, freshman opposite hitter Stephanie Seymour and freshman outside hitter Chandra Ramlogan all finished with four kills each. Sophomore libero Hannah Eisenstein had a team high nine digs, and sophomore setter Ashley Hunt ran the offense efficiently as she tallied 14 assists.
Next up for RVCC is a home game against Ocean County College on Tuesday, September 19th at 7pm.
