Naticoke, PA--On Thursday, October 6th the RVCC women's volleyball team traveled to Luzerne County Community College where they were victorious in four sets. They came out hot as they took the first two sets, 25-14 and 25-18 respectively. Luzerne was able to battle back, as they took the third set 25-18, however the Lions rallied in the fourth 25-14 and were able to come out with the win. 

Tallying a team high 14 kills was sophomore middle hitter Gabrielle Saydee. Freshman opposite hitter Brooke Scheier added 10, and freshman setter Jelitza Rodriguez put forth an efficient offensive performance with six kills and 22 assists. Contributions on the defensive side came from freshman libero Hannah Eisenstein who had a team high 25 digs, and freshman outside hitter Taylor Moskal who totaled six digs. Scheier also helped out on defense with six digs.

With the win the Lions improve to 4-8 on the season. They will look to end the season on a winning streak, as two games remain. They will host Ocean County College on Tuesday, October 11th then host Bergen Community College on Wednesday October 12th.
