Toms River, NJ-- The RVCC women's volleyball team lost to a talented Ocean County College team Wednesday in 3-0. Ocean CC 7-2 on the year in Region XIX play, and they proved to be too much for the Lions winning 25-11, 25-18, and 25-13. 

Leading the team in kills was freshman opposite hitter Brooke Scheier with seven. Another effective defensive outing was put forward from freshman libero Hannah Eisenstein, as she finished with 18 digs, and freshman setter Jelitza Rodriguez ran the offense well as she tallied ten assists. 

In the defeat the Lions fall to 2-5. They await a quick turnaround as they play Thursday night at Brookdale Community College at 7pm.
