Gibran Pervez is entering his sixth year as assistant coach for the Lion’s women’s basketball program. Coach Jibs, as the student-athletes call him, has been involved in the sport in various capacities throughout his professional career since graduating from Watchung Hills in 2004. From volunteering at rec leagues to helping at local camps Coach Jibs has made it a priority to stay involved with the youth in the game. A true basketball fan, when he’s not watching the Houston Rockets, he’s looking for an open gym to get in a run. Gibran resides in Bridgewater, NJ and currently works for New Enlgand Insurance Services.
