Four Lions Named To All-Region Team

Harrisburg, PA - Four members of the RVCC Women's Volleyball team were named to the All-Region XIX Teams as chosen by the Region coaches. Sophomore Kelly Delaney and Freshman Madison Cobb were selected First-Team All-Region XIX and Sophomore Reagan Mooney and Freshman Sona Petrusova were named Second-Team All-Region.

Delaney led the team with 340 kills while hitting at a .282%. Her 468 receive attempts and 376 digs were also the top on the team. It wasn't just the Raritan Valley categories that Delaney was on top of this season. She also led all of the NJCAA Division III volleyball players with 143 total service aces. Delaney was one of Raritan's most consistent and well rounded players in RVCC's Volleyball history.

Cobb was second on the team with 272 kills while leading the team with a .351%. Her 44 solo blocks were tops on the team and her 25 block assists had her tied in second place. The hard hitting Middle Blocker was also third on the team with 61 service aces. Cobb is the first freshman to be named to the First-Team All-Region Team since 2021.

Mooney led the offense with 714 assists. Her 97 service aces were second on the team. She was fourth on the team with 15 solo blocks, 23 block assists, and 38 total blocks. Mooney transitioned from Outside Hitter to the primary team's primary setter after the teams' first four games. Her versatility and volleyball IQ have been essential to the teams' success.

Petrusova was second on the team with 347 digs and first in digs per set with 3.94. The Libero was third on the team with 384 receive attempts. Petrusova was the DS for half of the season before transitioning into the teams' Libero position. Her ability to sacrifice her body and get on the floor bolstered the teams' strong defense.
