Men’s Soccer Earns First Win of the Season with 3-2 Victory over Bergen!

Vineland, NJ- Raritan Valley (1-4) earned their first win of the season in a great showing against Bergen (1-6) on Thursday, September 27th at Bergen. The Bulldogs netted two goals in the first half, while the Lions only had 1. However, the Lions came back scoring 2 goals in the second half to give them the win!

Freshman Chris Antunes ignited the Lions' offense from the start, scoring the Lions first goal of the season in the first minute of the match assisted by sophomore Dennis Espinal. Freshman sweeper Jordan Simpson scored assisted by Espinal earning his second assist this game, and to put the Lions ahead Simpson scored his second goal of the game assisted by freshman Antonio Vicente-Bailon

Sophomore goalkeeper Matthew Pozo earned his first win of the season having a solid game with 6 saves!

The Lions travel to Cumberland County College to take on the Dukes on Saturday, September 29th at 12 p.m.
