North Branch, NJ - The RVCC Men's Basketball team played host to Division 2 Region 15 opponent Westchester Community College Vikings.  The Lions came out with a lot of energy to start the game and took a quick early 10-4 lead over the Vikings.  RVCC struggled offensively after the good start and only scored 18 points the remainder of the half and trailed 33-28 going into the break.  The 28 points in a half was a season low for the Lions.  Westchester continued with strong play throughout the second half and they were able to build an 11 point lead.  RVCC then ramped up their pressure on the defensive end and disrupted the game with their full court press.  The Lions rallied from 11 down to go up 4 on a pass from Eddie Davis to Dan Dextraze to give RVCC a 62-58 lead.  With just under a minute to go Ernest Carter drove the lane and found Dextraze open from beyond the arc and connected on a corner 3 to give the Lions a 66-60 lead.  RVCC had 4 players in double figures led by Raheem Carter with 16 points and 12 rebounds, Ahmad Robinson with 16 points and 10 boards, Dan Dextraze with 14 and Eddie Davis who finished with 13 points 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals.  The Lions forced 38 turnovers in the game with Davis, Carter and Robinson each accounting for 5 steals.
