Lawrence Township, NJ-- On Saturday September 16th, the RVCC cross country team participated in the Rider Invitational. The meet consisted of Division I colleges and universities as well as junior colleges from New Jersey and New York, including Rider, Rutgers, TCNJ, Siena, Marist, and St. Joseph's. For RVCC, freshmen Robert Spies and Collin Diedhiou ran in the men's eight kilometer race. Spies finished with a time of 27:55, and Diedhou with a time of 30:12. From the women's side, freshman Diana Jimenez ran in the 6.15 kilometer race and finished with a time of 27:25. 

The next meet will come when the Lions will participate in the Luzerne Invitational on October 1st at 9:00am.
