Golden Lions XC kicked off their season at the Ramapo Roadrunner XC Invitational.

 The Golden Lions competed against other community colleges as well as 4-year colleges, and had a strong showing.  The field included various Division 3 and Division 2 programs.

 Jake Thoden, a freshman, ran 19:05, and placed 34 out of 75. Brian Mccarthy ran 23:46. On the women's side, Jessica Rutledge, a sophomore, ran 25:57 and placed 38 out of 72. 

 This first meet served as a fitness gauge, and the Golden Lions are ready to work hard before the next meet on October 3 at Luzerne Community College.
