North Branch, NJ -- Jessica Rutledge(Freshman) once again led the Golden Lions in a strong showing at the Ramapo College Invitational held on September 20th, 2014 at Garret Mountain Park in Woodland Park, NJ. Rutledge placed 16th out of 98 participants finishing the 5K with a time of 22:33.8 on a pace of 7:16.  Allison Spencer (23:58.0 finishing time) and Jessica Alvarez (25:36.3 finishing time) also had strong times for RVCC finishing in 31st and 43rd overall, respectively, good for a pace of  7:43 and 8:15.

On the Men's side, Bryan Llumiquinga was once again the fastest runner for RVCC finishing in the top 50(45th overall) out of 74 participants with an overall time of 34:18.3 at a pace of 6:53 in the Men's 8K.  Finishing 52nd and 53rd overall, Ian Burdi and Carlos Benitez, both placed ahead of several runners from 4-year schools finishing with times of 36:26.0 and 36:51.8 respectively.

The Golden Lions will return to action on Saturday, October 4th at Luzerne County College in the final meet before the NJCAA Region XIX meet!
