Women's Soccer Blanked by Montgomery

North Branch, NJ-- The RVCC women's soccer team was defeated by Montgomery County Community College by a final score of 2-0.  The Lions got off 15 shots, however were unable to put it in the back of the net. Montgomery struck in the 66th minute, and was able to add another goal in the 87th. 

For RVCC, freshman midfielders Mariana Munoz and Nataly Brito were able to advance the ball up the field, however were unable to beat the Montgomery goalie. Munoz got off five shots as well as Brito. Freshman defender Emily DaCunha played solid defense as she stopped several Montgomery attacks. Also contributing on the defensive side was sophomore midfielder Abby Manuel

With the loss the Lions fall to 1-2, and their next game is away at Cumberland County College Saturday October 1st at 11am.
