Women's Basketball Defeats CCP

North Branch, NJ - RVCC Women's Basketball team defeated the Community College of Philadelphia on Thursday night by a final score of 73-66. The Lions trailed by one point after the first quarter and only led by two going into the third. The Lions picked up the pace in the third quarter and were able to force CCP into taking hurried shots. RVCC used this to their advantage and won the quarter by eight, going into the fourth with a ten point lead. 

The Lions were led by Eumani Hollins' 23 points and 12 rebounds. The Freshman from Piscataway Tech High School finished with 3 three pointers. Sophomore, Alison McGrath, connected on a team high 4 trey balls, Precious Allah knocked down 3 from downtown, and Dyliany De Leon added 1 trifecta as well. 

RVCC returns to action on Satuday 11-23 at 12:00 PM as they host the Centurions from Bucks County College in a Region XIX Matchup. RVCC Currently sits at 4-3 on the year.
