Branchburg, NJ – RVCC Women's Basketball team defeated SUNY Ulster on Saturday by a final score of 99-63. This is the Lions' 4th win in a row and they improved to 5-1 on the season.
Once again the Lions were able to dictate the pace of the game early and used their press to get easy buckets. It was a well balanced attack for the Lions as 11 out of the 12 players scored at least 1 bucket. Leading the way was Freshman, Precious Allah, who finished the day with 23 points, 6 boards, 3 steals and 3 assists. Four other Lions finished in double figures as well; Adrienne Amey chipped in 11, Olivia Nilsen contributed 15, Dyliany De Leon had 10 and Alison McGrath finished with 13. The Lions were able to turn the Senators over 29 times, 21 of which were steals. Amey and McGrath had 4 each and Sonia Guiste led the team with 5.
The Lions return to Region XIX action this Tuesday at 5 PM as they host Lackawanna College.
