North Branch, NJ – On Tuesday, December 12th the RVCC Women's Basketball team took on a tough Harcum College team. The Lions were down just six points at half, trailing 25-31, but the second half was a different story. The Lions fell to their Region XIX foe 81-45.
The Lions came out flat to start the third quarter and allowed Harcum's full court press to turn them over 14 times in the second half. The turnovers would doom the Lions as the Bears from Harcum capitalized on those mistakes and flipped the turnovers into 20 points in transition.
Sophomore guard Ashley Hunt lead the way for the Lions again with 22 points and 4 rebounds. Hunt was the only Lion in double figures, however Freshman forward Claudia Edralin controlled the glass for the Lions finishing with 13 boards.
The Lions are now 7-3 on the season and next up is a home game vs. Essex County College on Thursday, December 14th @ 5PM.
