RVCC Downs Morris

Randolph, NJ-- The RVCC women's basketball team defeated County College of Morris Thursday night by a final score of 63-37. The Lions went on a 17-6 run to end the first quarter, and they were able to take that momentum into the second as they led 35-14 going into halftime. They played well in the second half and did not look back in order to seal the win. 

Freshman guard Megan Mack led the way for RVCC with a game high 22 points and nine rebounds. Freshman guard Ashley Hunt scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds and added seven assists. Sophomore forward Courtney Price led the team with 11 rebounds. Price along with sophomore guard Lauren Ferretti and freshman forward Neith Wideman all scored eight points. 

With the win the Lions are now 6-10, and next up is an away game at Manor College Saturday, February 4th at 12pm.
