West Windsor Twp. NJ-- The RVCC women's basketball team was defeated by Mercer County Community College Tuesday by a final score of 96-56. After a first have that was a back and forth battle, the Lions found themselves trailing 38-27, however were unable to stop Mercer in the second half. 

Leading the way for the Lions was freshman forward Ashley Hunt, who posted a double-double with 22 points on 8-10 shooting and 11 rebounds. Freshman guard Megan Mack added 18 points and four assists, and freshman forward Neith Wideman chipped in seven points and six rebounds. 

With the loss the Lions fall to 4-8 on the season, and next up is a home game against Luzerne County Community College Thursday, January 26th at 5pm.
