North Branch, NJ - The RVCC Softball team hosted New Hampshire Institute of Technology for a double header on Tuesday, 3/19. The visitors would walk away with the sweep winning the first game 19-1 and the second game 16-4.
In the second game of the day RVCC wasn't able to get their bats going until the bottom of the 4th when they scored all four of their runs. Sophomores Claudia Edralin and Sophia Leone as well as Freshmen Gineyra Rios Vega and Julia Kreider all had a hit for the Lions in the loss. The Lions had three RBI's on the day as Leone and Freshmen Anne Joseph and Xiomara Cornejo each had one.
The Lions will return to action next Tuesday against Mercer County Community College at home for two games starting at 3:00 P.M.
