Branchburg, NJ (August 26) – The RVCC Men's Soccer Team have unveiled their 2022 Fall Schedule which will consist of a total of 14 games, 8 home contests and 12 matchups against Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) opponents.
Mark Malchow who enters his seventh season as the Lions Head Coach will look to build off last season where the team finished just two games shy of a .500 record (5-7). Despite a lot of new faces in the locker room this year it does not change the standard that has been held since Malchow took over in 2016. When asked about his outlook on this upcoming season, he said:
"An exciting season approaches for RVCC Men's soccer. Expectations builds with 15 freshman recruits coming in to make a statement season. High work-rate, high IQ and high technical ability oozes from these players who are hungry to battle for a spot at nationals. All eyes fall on game one against Lehigh Carbon CC as the home opener looms large with anticipation."
The season kicks off for the Lions at home this upcoming Tuesday, August 30th against a Region XIX opponent, Lehigh Carbon CC @4PM.
