Branchburg, NJ - The RVCC Men's Soccer Team beat the Colts of Middlesex County College Tuesday, October 2nd 5-1. This is RVCC's third win over the Region XIX and Garden State Athletic Conference opponent this season!
The Lions started off hot scoring their first goal at minute 5 by freshman Chris Antunes assisted by freshman Jordan Simpson. However, the Colts netted a goal of their own at minute 17 to tie the game. Freshman Jordan Simpson came through for the Lions scoring his 6th goal in past 3 games assisted by Kyle Bogado to give the Lions the lead going into the half. Coming back from the half the Lions scored 3 more goals by Kyle Bogado, Chris Antunes, and Kyle again shutting out the colts the second half.
Sophmore Matthew Pozo dominated at goal with 11 saves, earning his third straight win!
The Lions earned 3 wins in a row and are now 3-4 overall on the season. Next week the Lions play Ocean on Tuesday, October 4th @ 4:00PM away.
