Men's Soccer Completes Week 2-0!

Vineland, NJ - The RVCC Men's Soccer Team beat the Dukes of Cumberland County College this Saturday 8-0. This is RVCC's second win over the Region XIX and Garden State Athletic Conference opponent this season!

The Lions got on the board early at minute 10 and kept the momentum going from there. The first goal was made by freshman sweeper Jordan Simpson assisted by Kyle Bogado, at minute 23 Simpson scored the Lions second goal assisted by Dennis Espinal, and at minute 37 freshman defensive midfielder Adrian Vicente-Bailon scored his first goal of the season assisted by Antonio Vicente-Bailon to end the first half 3-0.  

The Lions went into the half very confident and came out the second half fired up. At minute 53 freshman sweeper Nathan Ambrogio scored leading the Lions out the half assisted by Antonio Vicente-Bailon earning his second assist of the game, then freshman sweeper Chris Antunes scored back to back goals assisted by Nathan Ambrogio and Dennis Espinal. Then the last two goals earned Jordan Simpson and Chris Antunes a hat trick with their third goals of the game assisted by Chris Antunes and Jose Gregario.

The Lions end the week 2-0 and now 2-4 overall on the season. Next week the Lions play Middlesex on Tuesday, October 2nd @ 4:00PM home.
