Men's win to enter post season!

North Branch, NJ-- RVCC men's soccer defeat Rowan College at Gloucester County 3-1 on Saturday October 14th.

With the playoffs on the line the Lions were determined to win. It was a scoreless first half, both teams playing hard but the Lions got on the board first at the 60th minute mark from a penalty kick goal by freshman midfielder Keegan Halloran. Just three minutes later freshman forward Salman Ghiya scored, assisted by sophomore wing Chukwuemeka Okoye and, lastly, for the lions freshman forward Christian Barrera-Lopez scored at the 80 minute mark.

Sophomore goalkeeper Alex Meny played excellent in net as he finished with 14  saves. The Lions offense finished with 18 shots and 10 shots on goal.

With the win the Lions finish 5-5-3 on the 2017 season, and next up is first round playoffs TBA.

Congrats to the men's soccer team for having the best season in over the past seven years!
