Paterson,NJ--RVCC men's soccer defeat Passaic County Community College 3-0 on Saturday September 16th. 

Starting off strong the Lions scored a goal at 12 minutes, sophomore midfielder Thomas Mulvihill was assisted by freshman forward Khari Shepard and freshman midfielder Keegan Halloran. At the 40 minute mark Halloran struck again scoring off a penalty kick for the Lions second goal. Freshman midfielder Dennis Espinal scored with a beautiful free kick 20 yards out for the Lions third and final goal in the 75th minute.

Sophomore goalkeeper Alex Meny played excellent in net as he finished with five saves. The Lions offense finished with 19 shots and nine shots on goal. Sophomore wing Chukwuemeka Okoye and Mulvihill each totaled three shots and two being on goal.

With the win the Lions are 2-1-1 on the 2017 season, and next up is an away game on Thursday, September 21st against Brookdale Community College at 3:30pm.
