Men's Soccer Draws With Cumberland

Vineland, NJ-- This past Saturday, October 1st the RVCC men's soccer team traveled to Cumberland County College. It was a close, back and forth game that went into double overtime with the final being a 1-1 tie. 

Scoring for the Lions was freshman midfielder Roger Lizano. Lizano was set up from a nice look from freshman forward Chukwuemeka Okoye. RVCC got off 17 shots with five being on goal, however were unable to get the go ahead score. Freshman forward Danny Santana got off four shots, along with Okyoe. Freshman goalkeeper Alex Meny was strong in net again, as he racked up 10 saves. This marks the fourth game this year Meny finished with double digit saves.

Next up for the men's soccer team is an away game Saturday October 8th at Rowan College at Gloucester County at 1pm.
