RVCC Golf Takes Second in GSAC Tournament, Lions Named to Second Team All GSAC

Kenilworth, NJ-- The RVCC golf team took second place in the Garden State Athletic Conference Championships on Monday, April 24th. The tournament took place at Gallpoing Hill Golf Course, and consisted of Union County College, RVCC, Rowan College at Burlington County, County College of Morris, Camden County College, and Ocean County College.

Union took first place with a team low score of 330. The Lions were right behind them in second place as they finished with a 339. Burlington took third with 342, Morris was fourth with 345, Camden was fifth with 348, and Ocean took sixth with 356. 

Freshmen Casey Lawrence and Michael Campbell led the Lions as each shot an 83. Sophomore Raymark Abogado shot an 84, and sophomore Christian Lauchaire shot an 89. Lawrence and Campbell were tied for fourth lowest overall individual score. Both were named second team All Garden State Athletic Conference, as well as Abodago for their performances.
