Lafayette Township, NJ-- The RVCC Golf team took first place at the Farmstead Tournament on Monday, April 17th. The tournament consisted of RVCC, Rowan College at Burlington County, County College of Morris, and Union County College. The Lions were able to take first with a team-low score of 327. Morris was six strokes behind at 333, while Union finished with 337 and Burlington with 345. 

RVCC also had the lowest individual scorer, as freshman Casey Lawrence shot an impressive 77. Sophomores Christian Lauchaire and Raymark Abogado each shot an 82, and freshman Michael Campbell shot an 86. Par for the day was 72.

Next up for the Lions is the Garden State Athletic Conference championship tournament at Galloping Hill Golf Course on Monday, April 24th at 12pm.
