Golf Team With Another Strong Outing

The RVCC Men's Golf team for the second straight time won their tournment behind an outstanding peformance. As a team the Golden Lions shot a 306, and the next closest team was County College of Morris with a 390, and Union County College finished in third place and shot a 396. The course consisted of 18 holes and par was 71. RVCC placed the top four scorers of the tournament, and all six team members performed well. 

Raymark Abogado led the team again with a stellar performance shooting a tournament-low 74. Abogado was cruising along until a downpour hit during the 18th and final hole where had a double bogey. However, his solid performance in the first 17 holes still gave him the first place overall finish. William Ahkao had a strong performance as well, shooting a 76 and hitting par on all three of his eagle attempts. Christian Lauchaire also shot at 76 , and Andrew Alexander shot an 80. Stephen Hicks and Max Sop shot an 83 and an 84 respectivley. 

This marks the second dominating tournament win for the 2015-16 RVCC men's golf team this season, and they look to make it a season sweep when they play Monday the 18th at Flanders Valley Golf Course.
