Branchburg, NJ-The RVCC Men's Basketball team concluded the regular season on a three game winning streak, pushing their final record to 17-10. That record includes an 8-2 region record and a 5-1 record in the Garden State Athletic Conference. The record places the Lions as the #1 seed in the Region XIX DII playoffs, the regular season region champions and the GSAC champions all for the second straight season.

SO Dan Dextraze led the team in scoring (18.9) and rebounding (10.1), SO Eddie score 18.0 points per game and led the team, dishing out 4.4 assists per game. Other notable contributors include FR Damon Strand and FR Alif Bass, scoring 17.9 and 12.5 points per game respectively.

The Lions host NJCAA Region XIX Division II semi-final against the Titans from the County College of Morris on Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00 PM in the Raritan Valley gymnasium. The link to the live stream can be found here. Should the Lions advance in the single elimination tournament, they will host the Region XIX final on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
