Robinson, Carter, Davis Earn All-Region

Branchburg, NJ - The Raritan Valley Community College Lions placed three players on the Region XIX Division II All-Region team for the 2021-2022 season.  Ahmad Robinson and Raheem Carter were placed on the first team All-Region, and Eddie Davis was a second team All-Region member.  Ahmad Robinson was also named the Region XIX Player of the Year.  Robinson averaged 20.1 points per game, 7 rebounds per game, 6.8 assists per game and 3.4 steals per game.  He finished the season nationally ranked in numerous statistical categories including 5th in the nation in assists, 3rd in the nation in steals and 18th in the nation in scoring.  Robinson recorded six double doubles over the course of the season including a 37 point 10 assist outburst against Lackawanna College, a 27 point, 10 rebound and 9 assist game against Delaware Tech and a 29 point 10 rebound and 7 assist game against Montgomery County Community College.  He scored 20 or more points in eleven different games and amassed 502 total points in just 25 games played.

Raheem Carter was named to the first-team Region XIX Division II All-Region team.  Carter averaged 23.1 points per game and 10.9 rebounds per game.  His 23.1 points per game put him at 5th in the nation, and his 10.9 rebounds per game placed him 9th nationally.  Carter was extremely efficient all season and finished 50.5% from the field and 38.4% from the three.  He scored over 25 points on eleven different occasions, including five games over 30 points.  Carter averaged a double-double and had 19 double-doubles in 26 games played. 

Eddie Davis was named to the second-team Region XIX Division II All-Region team.  Davis averaged 16.1 points per game, 5 assists per game and 4.3 rebounds per game.  Davis was a key contributor on both ends of the floor for the Lions and his 24 points against Sullivan led RVCC to an early win over Sullivan County Community College who was ranked number 3 nationally.  Davis had another big outing when he dropped 25 in a win over Essex County College.  Davis did a great job all season getting to the free throw line where he connected on 78% of his attempts.  He also finished 13th in the nation in steals per game averaging 2.6
