Men's Basketball 2-0 on the week!

North Branch, NJ – On Thursday, November 29th the Men's Basketball team defeated Luzerne County Community College by a final score 114-70. The Win puts the Lions 4-4 overall.

The Lions came out of the gate strong with freshman Justin Davis and Michael Delsantro leading the attack offensively. Davis contributed 19 and Delsantro had 18 at the half half with a combine 37 of the Lions 68. A total of 5 Lions scored in double digits, Davis finished with 30, Delsantro with 24, freshman Christion Dejean with 17, sophomore Tariq Royster with 14, and freshman Samir Dieujuste with 12. However all 8 players who contributed in the game each scored making this win a true team effort.

Defensively the Lions killed it with a team total 13 steals. Davis had a team high 11 rebounds and freshman Isaiah Thompson dominated with 3 blocks.

Sophomore Tariq Royster took some time to reflect on the season thus far and stated "The season has been a big adjustment for everyone espically me being 1 of the 2 returns. Working with a new team with all freshman has been a major challenge but one I was eager to take on. The college game was a huge shock for 90% of our guys but after a few weeks into the seaon I can finally say we are all on the same page and I am excited to accomplish great things this season under Coach Brooks."
