Saturday, January 13th Wayne, PA – The RVCC Men's Basketball team started the second semester off right with a 71-57 win over Region XIX opponent Valley Forge Military College. The Lions got off to a slow start and only led by 6 at the half. After intermission the Lions outscored VFMC 41-33 giving the Lions the win they deserved.
This victory was an entire team effort with 5 Lions scoring in double figures. Leading the way with a double double was freshman forward Isaiah Laurent with 15 points 10 rebounds, also with 15 points freshman guard Kayton Darley tacking on 7 rebounds as well. Sophmore forward Mckay LeDuke and freshman forward Brandon Hamptopn each earned 12 points, and Isaac Neal contributing 10 points.
With the win the Lions are now 9-5 on the season and look to improve to 10-5 vs Chesapeake College on Monday, January 15th.
