Lincroft, NJ - On Thursday, November 30th the RVCC Men's Basketball team suffered their first loss of the season to an undefeated Brookdale Community College by a final score of 82-86. The Lions got off to an early lead starting the game on a 7-0 run causing Brookdale to call an early timeout. At the half the Lions were up 45-38. However, Brookdale was able to cut the lead down 52-51 early in the second half making it a back and forth second half but Brookdale came out on top by just 4 points to end the game.

Four Lions scored in double figures and leading the way was sophomore guard Kenyan Goodson with 25 points and went 8 for 8 at the line. Freshman forward Isaiah Laurent contributed 16 points, freshman Rick'keem Mixson had 12 points, and sophomore guard Isaac Neal had 10.

The Lions are now 4-1 on the season and look to improve to 5-1 this Saturday, December 2nd at 2 P.M. in a home matchup against Valley Forge Military College.
