North Branch, NJ- On Saturday, November 11th the RVCC men's basketball team defeated CCBC Catonsville by a final score of 87-79. The first half of the game was back and forth, as the Lions held a slim 37-36 lead, but the Lions came alive to close the game to come away with the victory.
Leading the way was freshman guard Rick'keem Mixson, he finished with 24 points 8 rebounds and was 9-9 at the free throw line, freshman guard Kayton Darley finished with 22 points 5 rebounds, sophomore guard Isaac Neal tallied 19 points 4 rebounds, and sopmore guard Kenyan Goodson had 12 points and was 8-8 from the free throw line.
With the win the Lions improve the 2-0, next up is a home game vs Ocean County Community College Thursday @7!
