North Branch, NJ-- On November 22nd, the RVCC men's basketball team lost a tough one to Lackawanna College by a final score of 82-80. The Lions had their chances for victory, however Lackawanna hit two free throws with one second left to get the win.
Leading the scoring for the Lions was sophomore guard Zaire Robinson with 24 points. The Woodbridge, NJ native was a threat from downtown as he went 4-6 from three point range. Freshman guard Kevin Saylor added 18 points, and freshman forward Ron Washington had a double double, as he scored 11 points and grabbed 15 points. Freshman guard Kenyan Goodson scored 14 points and added six assists off of the bench.
With the defeat RVCC falls to 4-2, and next up for is a home game against County College of Morris on Tuesday, November 29th at 7pm.
