The RVCC men's basketball defeated a talented Brookdale Community College Tuesday by a final score of 81-69. The Golden Lions were down by a score of 44-42 at halftime, yet a strong second half performance led to the victory.
On sophomore night, guard James Richardson and forward Bridson Rivera each had excellent performances. Richardson had a game high 24 points and added eight assists, while Rivera had 22 points by way of six three-pointers. Freshman guard Logan Santiago chipped in 22 points on 5-7 from three point range, and freshman center Aaron Broxton grabbed nine rebounds.
The Golden Lions shot the three pointer well as a team, shooting 13-28 overall for the game.
Next up is an away game this Saturday against Rowan College at Burlington County at 12:00 pm.
