The RVCC men's basketball team defeated Globe Institute of Technology Thursday by a final score of 95-73. It was an impressive showing by the Golden Lions, as they jumped to a 49-32 halftime lead and played strong in the second. The victory improves their record to 15-8.

Leading the scoring for RVCC was sophomore forward Bridson Rivera with 20 points. Freshman guard Logan Santiago, freshman guard Zaire Robinson, and freshman forward Jayce Beasley each scored 16 points. Freshman center ThankGod Okenwa played well again, scoring 12 points grabbing 16 rebounds and adding five blocks. 

Next up for the Golden Lions is a home game Saturday the 13th against Camden County College at 2pm.
