The Raritan Valley Community College men's basketball team defeated Mercer County CC by a final score of 89-63. The Golden Lions held a 44-26 lead, then blew the game open in the second. With the win, the Golden Lions advanced to 14-7 on the season. 

Leading the scoring was sophomore forward Bridson Rivera and sophomore guard James Richardson with 23 points. Rivera added eight rebounds and Richardson had seven assists. Sophomore guard Salman Hasan added 13 points off the bench, and freshman center ThankGod Okenwa played phenomenal defense with 15 rebounds and 10 blocks. 

The Golden Lions shot 9-20 from three point land, and outrebounded Mercer 43-27.

Next up is an away conference game at Essex County Tuesday the 9th at 7 pm.
