North Branch-- The RVCC men's basketball team defeated Delaware Technical and Community College Stanton Thursday by a final of 77-73. With the win the Golden Lions improve to 9-5. Del Tech jumped out to a 19-10 lead, however the Golden Lions countered with an impressive 28-2 run. 

Leading the scoring for RVCC was sophomore forward Bridson Rivera who had 26 points, and also grabbed 8 rebounds. Fellow sophomore and captain James Richardson had 13 points and eight assists. Freshman forward Sam Pierre chipped in with 10 points. 

The Golden Lions won the battle on the glass, as they outrebounded Del Tech 45-31. 

This wraps up the semester for RVCC, and their next game is at Manor College on Thursday January 14th.
