The RVCC men's baseketball team was defeated Tuesday by Rowan College at Burlington County 88-81. The Golden Lions held a 35-30 lead at halftime, yet could not hold the lead in the second half.

Leading the scoring for RVCC was freshman guard Logan Santiago who had 20 points. Sophomore forward Bridson Rivera had 14 points and six rebounds. Sophomore guard James Richardson had 12 points, as well as freshman forward Zaire Robinson who did so off of the bench.

For Rowan, freshman guard Marcus Bonnick led the scoring with 28 points, and knocked down five three pointers. Sophomore guard Juan Arias added 19.

The Golden Lions got contribution from their bench, as Robinson, freshman forward Jayce Beasley and Salman Hassan combined for a season bench high of 29 points.  

Next up for the Golden Lions is an away game this Thursday, the 10th at Lackawanna College.
