Men's Basketball Tops CCM for 95-61 Victotry

Morristown-- The RVCC men's basketball team defeated County College of Morris Tuesday by a score of 95-61. A 17-5 run to the end of the first half helped the Golden Lions take a 47-30 lead into the locker room, and they continued the strong play in the second half.

Sophomore guard James Richardson led the team in scoring with 20 points, and added 9 assists as well. Three Golden Lions scored 12, sophomore forward Bridson Rivera, sophomore guard Salman Hasan, and freshman forward Jawan Robinson. Freshman center ThankGod Okenwa grabbed 11 rebounds.

Leading the scoring for County College of Morris was sophomore guard Keith Obsborne. Freshman guard Rick Holliday added 15 points.

RVCC dominated the glass, outrebounding CCM  by a lopsided total of 54-22. 

Next up for the Golden Lions is a home game against Cumberland County College Saturday, December 5th at 1pm.
