North Branch--The RVCC men's basketball team controlled the entire game Thursday against Ocean County College, and won by a final score of 83-51. The Golden Lions jumped out to a 25-7 lead, and didn't let up as they took a 49-17 lead into halftime. 

Sophomore forward Bridson Rivera led the scoring with 17 points after connecting on three three pointers. Freshman center ThankGod Okenwa scored 14 points on 6-6 from the floor, and added 9 rebounds. Also playing efficiently was sophomore guard James Richardson who scored 15 points and got his teammates involved with 12 assists.

Leading the way for Ocean County College was sophomore guard Jared Rankins with 17 points. 

The Golden Lions outrebounded Ocean County 43-33, and played stellar defense holding them to 30% shooting.

Next up is a conference home game this Saturday the 21st against Valley Forge Military Academy at 1 pm.
