Men's Basketball Falls to Manor College 90-82 Despite Richardson's Impressive Performance

North Branch, NJ--In a hard fought and close forty minutes, the RVCC men's basketball team lost to  Manor College 90-82. The Golden Lions fall to 2-2 while Manor improved to 3-0. Manor held a slim 43-42 halftime lead, and edged the Golden Lions by seven points in the second half.

Leading the way for RVCC was sophomore guard James Richardson with a remarkable performance, scoring 31 points and adding nine assists. Fellow captain and sophomore Bridson Rivera added 19 converting on three three pointers. Freshman guard Logan Santiago shot the three ball well also, scoring 16 points. 

For Manor College, freshman guard Cananchet Jordan and sophomore guard Thomas Harris Jr. led the scoring with 18 each. Sophomore forward Teriquie Robinson had 16 points shooting six for seven from the field.

The Golden Lions passed the ball well, racking up 20 assists on 31 made field goals.

Next up for RVCC is a home game this Tuesday, November 17th against Mercer County Community College at 7 p.m.
