RVCC Men's Basketball Tops The Robinson School 84-67 in first scrimmage

North Branch, NJ-- The RVCC men's basketball Lions defeated The Robinson School Phoenix by a score of 84-67 Wednesday, in the first scrimmage of the season. It was a tight contest at halftime with the Lions holding a 40-36 lead, yet a strong second half led to the victory.

Freshman Guard Logan Santiago led the scoring for the Lions, with 23 points and shot an efficient 5-6 from three point range. Sophomore Guard James Richardson added 21 points, while Sophomore Forward Bridson Rivera had 15 points along with eight rebounds.

For The Robinson School, Freshman Forward Richard Chapman led scoring with 15 points, and Freshman forward Debon Bright added 12.

The Lions shot the three ball well, connecting on 11 of 19 attempts for a 58% total.

Up next is another scrimmage this Saturday the 24th at Jamboree Community College at 12 pm.
