Baseball Falls to Burlington

Pemberton, NJ-- The RVCC baseball team dropped both games of the doubleheader against Rowan College at Burlington County on Sunday. Game one ended in a final score of 10-1, and game two by a final score of 7-2. 

In game one, freshman lefty Adalberto Colon Jr. got the start as went 4.2 innings and allowed six earned runs. He also struck out six and walked four. Freshman right handed pitcher Dylan Forbes came on in relief and pitched 1.2 scoreless innings and allowed no hits. Offensivley they Lions bats generated four hits. Freshman catcher Jostan Tejada went 1-3 with a double. Freshman outfielder Andrew Tackett went 1-2 with a double and a run scored, and freshman outfielder Joseph DeRosa went 0-3 with an RBI.

In game two, freshman righty Luis Cruz got the start and went six innings. He allowed three earned runs, struck out seven batters, and only walked one. Freshman outfielder Jack Peterson went 2-3 with a double and a run scored, and freshman infielder Andrew Pollara went 1-3 with two RBIs.
