The RVCC baseball team dropped both games of the doubleheader against Globe Institute of Technology Saturday the 19th. Game one was won by Globe with a final score of 2 to 1. Sophomore third baseman Kyle Dotey came through in the clutch once again with an rbi single in the bottom of the 6th inning to give the Golden Lions the 1-0 lead, however Globe countered with two in the top of the seventh. Sophomore Jendry Seijas pitched well for RVCC, going seven innings strong with only two runs earned. Seijas struck out six and only walked two. 

Game two was a back and forth battle, as Globe jumped out to a 5-0 lead from 5 in the second inning, yet RV scored four in the bottom of the third. Sophomore shortstop CJ Lyons had a base clearing 3 RBI double to make it 5-4. Freshman infielder Sean Mead had an rbi double in the bottom of the sixth to tie the score, yet Globe pushed across four in the seventh to make the lead 9-5. CJ Lyons added a two run shot in the bottom of the seventh, which gave him five RBIs in the game.
